Stylist Tips for a Successful Interview
- Wear a dark suit (black, navy, brown, or grey) but select a blouse, scarf, or accessory that “pops” so you are conservatively dressed, yet memorable.
- Wear nude or dark hosiery. Nude hose should be a good match to your skin tone.
- Closed-toe shoes are a must, closed back is good with hosiery.
- Nails should be clipped short with nude or no polish.
- Hair should be neat and kept away from the face, this will focus you and your interviewer on what you have to say and not on your hairstyle.
- Makeup should be conservative. Remember, less is more in this department.
